The Secret Within

Through our extensive national network and from broad based research, we believe there are a number of challenging issues confronting young girls between the ages of 12 to 20.

Young girls who lack vision and a strong end result orientation together with self image and self confidence issues, tend to view their personal value as worth ‘less’ rather than worth more. The impact of this is seen in their code of conduct, and the manner in which they dress, speak and present themselves to the world around them.

Regrettably our research shows that this mindset often creates the negative conditions that lead towards the use of recreational drugs, the use of alcohol, promiscuity, teen pregnancies and resultant abortion.

OUR MISSION

Using a systems approach, we have built a value based, extremely practical programme, ideal for girls from grades 6 to 12.The aim of the programme is to help young girls become young ladies by instilling the foundations that are necessary for quality life choices

THE PROCESS

The programme is broken up into 3 levels. Level 1 is ideal for grades 6 and 7. Level 2 for grades 8 and 9 and level 3 for grades 10, 11 and 12. Sessions can be run in Life Orientation periods, as a half day workshop, as a holiday or weekend programme.
